Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions
- Season beef with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear beef in batches until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook onion and mushrooms until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
- Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir for 1 minute.
- Gradually stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- Return beef to skillet. Simmer 10 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Serve over egg noodles. Garnish with parsley.
